Leukemia Research Foundation of Delaware’s 2016 Black Tie Gala ‘Starry Night’ was a rousing success. Once again we were able to raise money to continue helping researchers work towards a cure for leukemia. That special night gets us closer to our goal of giving a third and fourth $1 million grant to Leukemia researchers.
Be prepared for a starry night on Friday, February 26, 2016 as the Leukemia Research Foundation of Delaware has marked that night for our annual Black Tie Gala. Our annual Black Tie Gala’s have become one of the premiere annual events in Delaware with a night filled with dancing, food, drinks and friends – all for a great cause.
Leukemia Research Foundation of Delaware’s Delaware Mud Run Wins Best Fundraiser
Yay! The Delaware Mud Run by Leukemia Research Foundation of Delaware was named Best Delaware Fundraiser 2015 by North Delaware Happening. Thousands of votes were cast for worthy Delaware fundraisers and we are so proud to be in the same category with these fine causes. Our Delaware Mud Run, which is held at Frightland each September, is by far our biggest fundraiser. It is a day filled with teamwork, friendship, families, fun and laughter…and it’s all for a great cause.

We still can’t get over what an amazing time everyone had at the Leukemia Research Foundation of Delaware’s annual Black Tie Gala a few weeks ago at the beautiful Double Tree Suites in Wilmington, Delaware. Smiles were abound, everyone was dressed to the 9’s, there was endless food and drink and the music of Philly Party Band.
Leukemia Research Foundation of Delaware (LRFDE) held our 2015 Black Tie Gala this past Saturday night at the beautiful Double Tree Suites in Wilmington, Delaware. Our theme this year was “All that glitters is gold” and boy did everyone glitter. Friends, family and associates from all over Delaware and the surrounding areas came out in horribly heavy snow to raise money for cancer research and have a fabulous night.
Today, February 4th, 2015, is World Cancer Day. World Cancer Day aims to honor cancer survivors, those currently battling the disease, and those we’ve lost. Additionally, the day brings awareness to those who fight tirelessly through research, organizing, lobbying support, medical services and everything in between.
